Advantages of PTFE

There are eight advantages of PTFE:
One: PTFE has the property of high temperature resistance, its use temperature can reach 250 ℃, when the general plastic temperature reaches 100 ℃, the plastic will melt by itself, but when the tetrafluoroethylene reaches 250 ℃, it can still maintain the overall structure It does not change, and even when the temperature reaches 300 °C in an instant, there will be no change in physical form.
Two: PTFE also has the opposite property, that is, low temperature resistance, when the low temperature drops to -190 ° C, it can still maintain 5% elongation.
Three: PTFE has corrosion-resistant properties. For most chemicals and solvents, it shows an inertness and can withstand strong acids and alkalis, water and various organic solvents.
Four: PTFE has the properties of weather resistance. PTFE does not absorb moisture and is not flammable, and it is extremely stable to oxygen and ultraviolet rays, so it has the best aging life in plastics.
Five: PTFE has high lubricating properties, and PTFE is so smooth that it can’t even compare to ice, so it has the lowest friction coefficient among solid materials.
Six: PTFE has the property of non-adhesion. Because the intermolecular force of oxygen-carbon chain is extremely low, it does not adhere to any substances.
Seven: PTFE has non-toxic properties, so it is usually used in medical treatment, as artificial blood vessels, extracorporeal circulators, rhinoplasty, etc., as an organ for long-term implantation in the body without adverse reactions.
Eight: PTFE has the property of electrical insulation, it can resist 1500 volts of high voltage.
